I meant to post when I arrived. But I had to jump right into things. Literally threw bags into apartment, went into the shower, popped on a train and went down to Swinburne. Imagine my surprised when I got down. I thought I landed in India~ There were Indians everywhere~ I think about 70% of the international student population is from India. Will have to get the real stats, but it certainly seems so. Everytime I travel on the train, if there's Indians, they'll stop at Swinburne. Is Glenferrie Melbourne's Little India?
It actually felt a little sad leaving Miri. I thought I was over that. Maybe it was because I knew I would be in an entirely new environment. How do I feel about it now? I really dont know. We'll see on Monday.. first lecture is at 6.30pm. Yeap.. I have evening classes now.
