Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all fathers~~ :D

I've said this many many times before, and I'll say it all over again. :)

My daddy is the most patient person I know. Knowing what he has to endure everyday makes him my hero. He has the kindest and most generous heart above everyone else. There are things he has done that would blow your mind away (Personal matters here so I won't display for all to see). He represents a role model of how I think all men should treat their siblings and how all fathers should treat their children. He is never aggressive or impatient.

My dad teaches us what we need to know in the best way possible. He is neither domineering nor authoritative. My dad rarely orders us, he lets us make our own decisions, trusting that we would make the right ones. He doesn't say "Because I said so" or "I told you so". My dad is always encouraging and supportive without being too dictative. It's always about "I know you can do it" and "I'm sure you will pull through this". He knows when to guide us and when to let us learn by ourselves.

Anyone can feel at ease around him simply because he has an open heart. Being funny and spontaneous wins him points too :) His booming laugh and sly jokes puts everyone at ease. Although corny sometimes, but knowing that I have a dad who can joke with my friends rocks! Not any one of them dislike him. In fact, I am always reminded by them that I have a great father. That's how cool he is. :D

Mr. Su is also a workaholic. But that's the point of it. He works so hard to gives us the best things. We have a nice, comfortable house on our own land. Two nice cars. The holiday trips every year. All the nice food. Annie and I have a good education here in Australia. Annie and Mom have all the clothes they want. Albert has all the football equipment he can get plus the latest "everything". I get to buy all the fiction I desire.

He made all this possible without compromising family time. I can't think of a time when I'd lost my dad to work. Never. He puts family first. Friday and Saturday nights are family time. No meetings, whether for work or for the school alumni board. Rather, it is us who fail him sometimes. *Thinks about the nights out with friends*

I don't have much confidence about my abilities, or anything about myself. But I can damn well pledge that I have a dad that any kid would be proud of.
