The baton goes on..

And so today marks another turnover for the band.. A new committee and a new year of exciting events to look forward to.

Jac Jossica Lu was made president today, marking the band's first direction under a girl president since the first two founder/presidents in 1995 and 1996 - Ping Ping and Shu Shu. Teck Mui and Yik Yuen are the two Form 4 Vice Presidents, Rex as the Form 3 VP, Secretaries Boon Tsin and Siaw Yie, Treasurers Cheng Guan and Pauline, General Officers Jai Zing and Jacinta, Music Instructor Stephanie. That's all I got from Ben Chong. Oh, and the new Drum Major is Tad Jiunn.

Well.. seems like the only connection I have to most of them is X's sister or Y's brother. Don't know any of them personally except Pauline. The last batch of juniors we taught were Ben Chong and gang and now THEY have retired. Heh.. seems like a longgggggggggg time ago. Ah.. sweet memories.

As you can see, not much of a mood to blog here, but took the liberty to at least blog about band stuff which is always important to me =)

Now that Ben and the others have become alumni, I think they will began to understand the nostalgia us oldies feel and come to appreciate the open arms of the current members who will in turn seem less and less familiar to them until we all get the opportunity to foster closer relationships in the near future.

Happy retirement Ben Chong and committee 2005/2006 and welcome to Jossica and the rest of the 2006/2007 gang. Do us proud this year~ =)
