Quotes seem to be the norm lately. This latest one was quoted by Shinny a few nights ago. The original quote is "all is for the best in this, the best of all possible worlds" from Candide by Voltaire.
It simply means to have an optimistic viewpoint of life. The moral goal according to Voltaire is to do what is "natural", what is assigned to man by god.
"To return to the example set by Adam and Eve. To return to the farm, to toil the earth, plant seeds, abandon all worldly desires," says my wise friend Shinny.
It's all very true. What of the advancements we have made? I guess it's the same as saying once we know we can achieve, we will forever pursue perhaps not the materialistic goals but really, the desire to gain. That is why we can never be satisfied.
Stay optimistic, let go..
