Stolen

Hi all..

Backpack got stolen. If anyone remembers, it's my red Nike bag which has been with me for almost two years now. I think there's a picture of it somewhere in my MSNSpace.

Worse thing was I had my camera in it. Nevermind the 10 ringgit wallet. Or the fact that I had to cancel all my cards and wait while they send new ones to me. The camera was worth so much more, even more when I had to replace the lens back in December last year. So yea.. that's sucky. I had a picture of some cool street art in it which I was going to post up yesterday but realized I'd lent my connector to my friend and so left the camera in my bag.

Well.. what to do.. I'd lodged a report with QV security (QV was the place I studying at) and with the local police station. I doubt anything's gonna happen though. So in the mean time, I'll have to replace my student card, gym card, boost juice card, pulse pharmacy card and some other stuffs.. I had 50 Malaysian ringgit in an angpau which was given to me, that's useless to the thief.. along with the "fu2" my mom got for me from a temple.. The things I can't get back are.. pictures with the gals and my picture with my godbro Shu.

So yea.. there will be no pictures for a while.. Take care of your stuff everyone.. it's not gonna deter anyone from getting robbed in daylight coz we know there are snatch thieves anyway, but it'll decrease the chances of you losing something stupidly like me. Lucky thing Dad had the sense to keep my IC and driver's licence before we left. Otherwise... -.-" I don't even wanna think about it.

The only bright side is I will remember how to answer questions on "change blindness" if it does come out in the Human Psychophysiology paper. Change blindness is when you're oblivious to an obvious stimuli change because your attention is directed elsewhere. Also, I must've been most absorbed in my revision, so I guess that's a plus too~

Take care of your belongings everyone! Don't lump everything in one bag. There's always jean pockets.
