Well.. hopefully this will be the end of a long train of turnovers.. :) so, impress me blogspot.com~
Last night it was just myself, Vera, Chunny and Hood (plus Albert who always tags along whenever the guys turn up). The group has shrunk considerably since three years ago. With Barry in Sheffield, Chuan Yong in Dublin, Fen in Nottingham, Hwan, Beijing, Juk, Shenzhen and Kee Yie still in Shah Alam, that's a great deal off people MIA. Definitely looking to Colin and August to bring some noise back this Sunday.
Drove up to Lutong to pick Vera up as usual, and the street lights after the new bridge are still non-existant. Decided on Discovery coz it was threatening to rain and Perwira would be soaked through. Turns out that there are renovations on a part of the place. Everyone is pretty much the same, maybe a bit fatter or slimmer (well, everyone was fatter. LOL). Brought my birthday present for Vera, "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" although it wont be her bday till late late late December, but just in case it gets lost in the house. Exchanged news for a while, till the guys eventually (as always) got hungry. It was still wet outside so we decided to head for Yong Le instead of Perwira (OH my poor neglected Roti John~). Drove two circles round the place before spotting a space at the very end of the area. Why is it that I'm always stuck with the sucky lots?
Coz you drive slow.
Oh. :P
Chunny couldn't help but overtake me on Bulan Sabit at Boulevard anymore than he can resist Yong Le's Fried Kueh Tiaw Wet. -.-" In fact, we all had a plate each with the exception of Albert who had + Yong Tauhu + 3 Chicken Wings. We teased Chunny about his latest indulgence, RM 320 worth of Armani products which include cologne, facial wash, deodorant, and something I don't quite remember anymore. Heh. Apparently the birthday present I bought for him on his 19th birthday, a CK I, was the cause of that. Hood reckon it's an excuse to elicit his fondness for "hiaw-ing" little girls without having to actually admit to it - to which Vera and I agreed heartily. I told Chunny he should merit himself a little bit more. ;)
Round about 10.45 it started pouring again. We decided to wait out the rain, or at least till it had decrease a little before setting back coz sending Vera home would be a long long way.. You'd think that Hoof would offer to take her back.. but nooooo.. ah well.. who takes her out brings her back. That has always been the rule. At 11.25 we gave it up and decided to drive back slowly. By the time we'd reached home, it was past midnight and Albert had already finished his 3 wings. -.-"
